Salt College opened its doors in June 2025 with a clear purpose: to create an environment where learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) can discover their strengths and thrive in hands‑on technical training. We believe that a person’s potential shines brightest when practical skills and personal support go hand in hand.

From day one, our dedicated team has focused on crafting bespoke learning journeys to support the aspirations of our learners and prepare them for the world of work. Students work toward industry-relevant qualifications—whether mastering manicures, knowing hour to plumb a bathroom, learning bricklaying, Coding, creating a new business idea, making a coffee or creating a piece of art—while developing resilience, independence, and confidence. With state‑of‑the‑art Facilities including a live working Aesthetics Clinic and commercial coffee shop, we bring real-world experiences into the classroom.

Salt College offers a true student centred curriculum with additionalities to help learners to grow such as Preparation for Adulthood (PFA) and Math's & English. We take pride in offering tailored pastoral care, building strong relationships between learners, families, staff, our community and external professionals.​​
